Questions anyone?

Solo understands that dental hygiene clinics are a newer concept and patients may have questions about fees, services, insurance and more.  We offer comprehensive dental hygiene services with coverage for these services. We are happy to answer any questions and want to leave you feeling confident about your choice in coming to Solo , The Dental Hygiene Spa.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

  • We understand that life is busy and things happen so if for any reason you need to cancel or change your appointment, 48 hours notice is required in order to avoid a cancellation charge. Our office cancellation fee is $50.00 and is posted on all email communications.

What if I need dental treatment?

  • Solo will collaborate with your dentist or one of our many referring dentists in the city if restorative treatment is needed. Solo will send a referral letter and x-rays taken (if required) to their office and they will connect with you to book your appointment at their office.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

  • A current list of your medications including dosages if applicable.

  • Your insurance booklet/plan breakdown which can be found on your insurance carrier app, insurance card with policy number-if applicable.

  • A valid ID, and method of payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Debit and Cash.

What is different about dental hygiene clinics from dental offices?

  • Since 2006, legislation provides that dental hygienists can be self-employed and own and operate their own clinics.

  • Dental hygiene clinics are owned by hygienists and they collaborate with dentists and other health professionals.

  • Solo, The Dental Hygiene Spa is structured around patient education and evidence-based client centered care.
